Pet Grocer Wins Prestigious South Simcoe Business Excellence Award for Customer Service

We are excited to announce that Pet Grocer™ has been honoured with the South Simcoe Business Excellence Award for Customer Service! This recognition was presented to our owner, Jenn Newark, on May 2nd at the 24th Annual South Simcoe Business Excellence Awards.

The Customer Service Excellence Award, specifically for businesses with 1-9 employees, highlights outstanding customer service skills. Pet Grocer™ was chosen this year due to our unwavering commitment to putting pets and their people first. Under Jenn’s expert leadership, it was said that the team at Pet Grocer™ prioritizes wellness over sales, and that our integrity and dedication shine through every interaction, fostering a sense of trust and care among clients.

Jenn Newark, renowned for her expertise in small animal holistic nutrition, leads a passionate and dedicated team. Employing seven locally trained and certified staff members, Pet Grocer™ emphasizes continuous education to stay at the forefront of holistic wellness practices for pets. It is this dedication to both empathetic customer service and ongoing knowledge enhancement that set Pet Grocer™ apart as a trusted advocate for pet health and happiness.

The awards ceremony, hosted by the Township of Adjala-Tosorontio in partnership with Nottawasaga Futures, attracted over a hundred attendees, including representatives from federal and provincial governments, mayors, deputy mayors, councillors, and community leaders.

Jenn noted that the support and recognition from such a wide array of dignitaries made the evening even more special for all the honourees. We were particularly proud to receive award certificates and a beautiful glass trophy from the Premier's office, Simcoe County, The Town of New Tecumseth, and Nottawasaga Futures.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the nominees and other award recipients. It was a privilege to share the evening with so many outstanding businesses from the South Simcoe area.

We are also grateful for the support of the Tottenham & Beeton Chamber of Commerce, whose presence further highlighted the collaborative spirit of our local business community.
