Kelp (Ascophyllum nodosum) is a naturally nutrient rich brown seaweed that provides iodine along with a broad range of naturally occurring trace minerals and plant compounds.

For dogs and cats, it is commonly added to fresh and raw diets to provide a natural source of iodine, support normal thyroid function, and contribute to healthy skin, coat and overall wellness.
